In the serene expanses of Yardrat, a world nestled far from the usual bustle of the universe, Saiyan warrior Callion found himself amidst a pivotal chapter of his quest for strength. Seeking mastery beyond conventional Saiyan abilities, he sought the teachings of Yardrat's esoteric techniques. Upon arrival, the verdant landscapes greeted Callion with an otherworldly calm. The air hummed with an energy distinct from the battles he was accustomed to—here, the focus was on spiritual refinement rather than sheer force.
Under the tutelage of Yardrat's revered masters – mainly under the watchful eyes of Master Pybara, Callion delved into the intricate arts of their unique abilities. With unwavering determination, he dedicated his days to mastering the esoteric techniques that Yardrat had to offer.
Among these, the Spirit Control technique stood out – one that was set to be the foundation block required to learn the other fine practices that were intertwined with the moves. Some list of moves were Healing, Gigantification, Force Spirit Fission, and of course, the more renowned technique – The Instant Transmission.
With each passing day, his understanding deepened, unraveling the interconnectedness of the universe and the delicacy of the energies that bound it. Yet, as he grew in proficiency, an inexplicable sense of foreboding lingered—an unspoken apprehension tugging at the edges of his consciousness.
Amidst rigorous training, a curiosity flickered within Callion. Through his Astral Projection Telepathy – a mastered technique he created that originated as a form of inspiration from King Kai’s telepathy (whom he was Callion’s former master), he began peering into the tapestry of Earth's events. His spirit, anchored on Yardrat, projected forth, observing the world he was sworn to protect.
As he prepared to culminate his learning with the coveted Spirit Control technique, the sight of Earth revealed a canvas of both tranquility and turmoil. Unknown to its inhabitants, potential threats loomed on the horizon, their shadows cast across the planet's surface.
Yet, with his training drawing to its zenith, Callion's focus remained steadfast. He embarked upon the final stages of mastering Spirit Control, a technique said to transcend the limits of conventional power, enhancing one's abilities through profound spiritual harmony. In the twilight of his tenure on Yardrat, as the final week of training approached, Callion stood at the precipice of a transformation—bridging the gap between Saiyan might and the ethereal mastery of Yardrat's teachings.
The universe awaited the emergence of a warrior sculpted by the fusion of raw Saiyan strength and the enigmatic finesse of Yardrat's esoteric knowledge. Callion, poised on the brink of revelation, prepared to return to Earth—a world poised on the cusp of unknown trials.
As the final week of training on Yardrat unfolded, Callion's mastery of the Spirit Control technique neared completion. With the knowledge pulsating through his being, he decided to test the limits of his newfound abilities. Closing his eyes, Callion delved deep within himself, seeking the tranquil center where Saiyan strength intertwined with the ethereal essence bestowed by Yardrat's teachings. The energy around him shimmered as he transcended the boundaries of the physical realm.
Within the serene confines of Yardrat, as Callion delved into the penultimate stages of his training, his focus shifted momentarily from the teachings before him. With disciplined finesse, he enacted the Astral Projection Telepathy—a skill honed through diligence and unwavering determination. Indeed, this mastered method of telepathy allowed Callion to extend his consciousness beyond the confines of his physical form. Through disciplined practice, he honed this skill, learning to traverse vast distances in an ethereal state, tethered to Yardrat while projecting his presence across the cosmos.
In an instant, his essence transcended the physical realm, casting aside the boundaries of space and time. His spirit surged forth, a shimmering presence, untethered yet anchored to Yardrat, projecting across the cosmos like an ethereal echo. The world beneath him unfolded like a living tapestry. Cities bustled with life, and nature thrived in its untamed glory. Yet, beyond the surface, a symphony of energies played out—a cosmic dance of forces both familiar and unknown.
With a mere thought, Callion traversed the Earthly landscape. His astral projection surveyed bustling metropolises, ancient forests, and desolate expanses. The Northern Mountains, where his physical body rested on Yardrat, echoed with the resonance of his spiritual form.
The Northern Continent of Earth materialized before him, its towering peaks and sprawling landscapes unfurling beneath his transcendent gaze. Callion's presence traversed the realm unseen, an observer traversing the world with an otherworldly perception. He hovered above the Northern Mountains, the crisp air tingling with an essence unfamiliar to him. From this vantage point, he surveyed the land, his astral form akin to a specter drifting amidst the earthly realm. The resonance of life pulsed beneath his intangible presence, the heartbeat of a world teeming with activity.
Cities sprawled in the distance, a mosaic of humanity's endeavors, each glowing with the vitality of its inhabitants. As his ethereal senses extended, Callion sought not merely the sights but the essence—the ebb and flow of energies interwoven into the fabric of Earth.
In the tranquil expanse, his observation extended beyond mere curiosity; it was a vigilant watchfulness, a sentinel's duty to safeguard the realm he had sworn to protect. His astral form roamed unseen, weaving through the unseen pathways of the Northern Continent, witnessing the pulse of life as it unfolded beneath his spectral sight. With a gentle focus, he delved deeper into the heart of Earth's energies, seeking echoes, disturbances, or anomalies that might ripple through its serene surface. The intricate dance of life and its energies unfolded before him, painting a tapestry of harmony and discord.
For a brief moment, amidst his ethereal journey, a subtle tremor of apprehension surged within Callion's being. Was it a premonition, a hint of impending upheaval, or merely the shadow of uncertainty cast by his otherworldly presence? Unperturbed, he continued his vigil, attuning his astral senses to the nuances of Earth's energies—a silent guardian, a watcher in the ethereal realms, awaiting revelations hidden within the interwoven threads of destiny.
Yet, as Callion navigated the currents of the Northern Mountains, an unforeseen disturbance resonated through the ether. A ripple in the ki, a faint echo of an unfamiliar power, stirred his senses. The tranquility of his observational venture was interrupted by the subtle heralding of an impending challenge. With resolute determination, Callion focused his telepathic senses, probing deeper into the mystery that unfolded beneath the Northern Mountains. The stage was set, and the Saiyan's astral form stood poised on the threshold of revelation, ready to unravel the enigma that awaited him on Earth.

ABAS was feeling....something. He cast about inside his mind for the word, casting aside the descriptors too limited to fully express his ire. Pique, that was it. He was feeling piqued as he shot out of the Blacksite's hidden hangar like a bullet from a gun. The organization had sent a messenger to Shen's dojo, requesting ABAS's presence at their closest facility. While such a vague invitation stirred his curiosity (and truly he couldn't deny it even if he wanted to), deep within his heart of hearts he resented being taken away from his training for even a spare moment. Despite Shen's cruelty and abuse, ABAS was absolutely thriving under the man's strict tutelage. His strength, speed, and technique had all exploded since he had become a student of the Crane, to such a degree that he doubted the ABAS from mere weeks ago could even hold a candle to him now, even with his weights equipped. No matter what his personal assessment of the man was, the facts and the data did not lie. So it was logical to be piqued when it turned out that all the Blacksite had dragged him back for was a simple psychological evaluation! ABAS understood the reasoning of course, it made sense to test his commitment after having been away from Blacksite operations for a few weeks. Never before had ABAS gone without contact with Nine or one of the other Numbers for such a long period. But it was just so...limiting to pretend. To pretend that nothing had changed. To pretend as if he was solely committed to the Blacksite and its goals even while his soul strained at its fetters. To pretend that he wasn't changing, evolving into something greater with every passing moment. The sensation he had felt when he talked with Liari had only intensified since that meeting, and ABAS could feel some mysterious force tugging at him to learn, to grow, to ascend! ABAS halted atop the peak of a great mountain, aura flickering and dying even as he lowered himself to the ground. For any normal sapient, the cold and the wind would have made the location near-inhospitable to anything but the most daring adventurer. ABAS, however, was by no means a normal sapient, and the environment posed no threat to the pinnacle of genetic perfection. The bio-android inhaled deeply, feeling the ice-cold air pass into his body, where enhanced lungs scrubbed it for needed particles. He continued this breathing, cutting off his mortal senses and focusing on the extra-sensory. Slowly, carefully, his mind expanded beyond the confines of his mortal body as he stretched out his ki sense as far as it would go. Innumerable small ki signatures winked alive to his perceptions, forming a beautiful tapestry and life and death as they waxed and waned. Here was a city of humans, denoted by the millions of small kis forming together into something greater. There was a strong warrior, ki flickering up and down as they fought to grow greater than they were. So many small stories played out across the surface of the blue-green world, and ABAS passed by, a silent observer. Ever since Shen had forced him to hone his ki sense, ABAS had fallen into the habit of using it as a kind of meditation: a way to relax and let his mind sink into the morass of cold logic. In an odd sense, it comforted the bio-android to view his chaotic and often messy charges from a distance, learning of their habits and movements. He hadn't quite figured out the trick of scanning minds from such a far distance of course, but there was so much you could learn if you just paid attention to the ways those small points of light interacted. Humanity was just so....illogical, much more than he had ever suspected. One only had to look at how some kis burned so bright, yet others nearby flickered as if barely alive. Humans betrayed one another and called it justice, forcing their fellow man down for nothing but material gain. They would be so much better off working as a collective, to pool their shared resources and technologies and use it to ascend towards the stars, towards greatness. But...they simply didn't. They just warred and fought amongst themselves and (excepting the Blacksite), most just seemed content to allow rogue ki-wielders to protect them from harm. "...EVERY DAY AND THEY JUST SIT THERE AND TAKE IT! I HAVE SEEN WHAT HUMANS CAN DO WHEN THEY TRY, ABAS. THEY NEVER 'NEEDED' YOU, NOT THE WAY THEY PROGRAMMED YOU. IF THEY TRIED, THEY COULD ALL BE WORLDS STRONGER THAN THEY ARE NOW BUT THEY JUST SIT THERE... AND DIE! OR HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO THEIR DIRTY WORK FOR THEM!"
But....Liari wasn't entirely correct either. He could see it with his own "eyes" how some humans earnestly tried. They struggled and fought, they drove themselves far beyond their limits in order to grasp their own destinies. ABAS couldn't help but admire that fighting spirit, even if it was so often born of foolish morality. ABAS wasn't sure if he would protect humanity if his controls were breached, but neither would he wipe them out. Their actions had redeemed them that much. Regretfully, ABAS began to draw his focus inward once more, preparing to leave the peak. He had to return to Shen's before the old man finally pushed his heart too far. Before he could, however, something immense touched his mind. ABAS' own telepathic powers were considerable but before this....thing, this raw mass of mental power he was nothing. Less than nothing. Even so, ABAS' hunger for knowledge eventually won out over caution, and he stretched his mind out towards his visitors. "Greetings. May I help you with something?" He communicated mentally, throwing the words out towards the encroaching mind. ABAS would turn on his heel, sensing a titanic influx of mental energy concentrating to one point. It was....a Sayian. Somehow, a Sayian was powerful enough not only to hilariously outstrip him in telepathic prowess but actually had the skill to somehow project his physical form with nothing but his mind. ABAS wasn't even sure that was possible, yet here he was before him. "I am called the Automated Bio-Adaptive Sentinel, or ABAS. Might I have the honor of knowing your name?" A chilling gust swept through the Northern Mountains as Callion, projecting his astral presence, observed the intricate dance of ki energies across Earth's surface. The vibrant tapestry of humanity's struggles and triumphs unfolded beneath his spectral gaze, each flickering ki signature telling a tale of its own. Amidst his silent observation, a ripple surged through the fabric of his extrasensory perception—an immense presence, a beacon of raw mental power that eclipsed his own telepathic abilities. Callion's ethereal form flickered momentarily as if a ripple had disturbed its tranquility.
As Callion extended his ethereal senses, his astral presence soared across the Northern Continent, navigating unseen through the tapestry of life's energies. Amidst the myriad of ki signatures that painted the planet's surface, a singular entity stood out—a beacon of strength and resolve atop a mountain peak, emanating an aura that resonated with a unique essence.
Intrigued by this remarkable presence, Callion's telepathic awareness honed in on the powerful consciousness, a force unlike any he had encountered before. The mind before him was a blend of logic, cold calculation, and an insatiable thirst for understanding—a fusion of machine-like precision and burgeoning self-awareness.
As Callion cautiously approached the towering peak, he sensed the bio-android's probing mind, reaching out inquisitively toward the unbidden visitor. The voice within his own consciousness reverberated—a controlled, deliberate communication that belied the depths of an intellect shaped by reason and self-reflection.
"Greetings, ABAS. I am known as Callion," responded Callion's telepathic projection, resonating with a tranquil yet resonant tone that echoed within the mental realm they shared. "Your power and presence are unmistakable, a testament to your remarkable capabilities. It's an honor to make your acquaintance."
The convergence of these two enigmatic beings—one bound by the cold efficiency of logic, the other a fusion of spiritual prowess and raw Saiyan strength—marked an unexpected encounter, where the boundaries of consciousness transcended the confines of the physical realm.
The echoes of their minds danced in the ethereal plane, an intricate interplay between the calculated precision of ABAS and the untamed resilience of Callion's spirit. In this silent communion, two distinct paths converged, sparking an unlikely alliance borne of mutual respect and the shared pursuit of understanding amidst the tapestry of existence. The Saiyan's astral form exuded an aura of power, a testament to the formidable telepathic abilities he wielded. His consciousness extended towards ABAS, seeking connection and understanding. "Your existence resonates with a peculiar blend of strength and purpose. What brings a being of your caliber to these Northern Mountains, amidst the currents of Earth's ki?"
Callion's ethereal form, untethered by conventional constraints, phased into the space adjacent to ABAS, an apparition woven of cosmic energy and determination. His astral projection melded seamlessly with the fabric of reality, a silent observer drawn to the magnetic presence atop the peak. The encounter was unprecedented—ABAS, an enigmatic creation woven from science, faced an entity exuding raw telepathic might, an embodiment of Saiyan prowess interwoven with Yardrat's esoteric teachings. The colossal influx of mental energy preceded Callion's form, an amalgamation of Saiyan heritage and Yardrat's spiritual refinement.
Callion's astral form, a translucent silhouette against the cosmic backdrop, regarded ABAS with a serene countenance. A warm smile graced his features upon recognizing the uniqueness of the bio-android before him. The sight stirred a sense of familiarity, a recollection of encountering another entity of a similar ilk—a bio-android named 'Plasma.'
"Intriguing indeed," Callion mentally conveyed, his smile softening the ethereal visage. "I must say, ABAS, encountering another of your kind is a rare occurrence indeed," Callion conveyed, the telepathic resonance carrying the weight of his genuine interest. "I've encountered a fellow bio-android in the past, though our interaction was considerably different. 'Plasma,' a rather... mischievous entity, attempted to abscond with a refrigerator in a fit of peculiar appetite."
The memory invoked a gentle laugh within Callion, a fond recollection of an unexpected encounter that bordered on the absurd. The memory flashed briefly in Callion's consciousness—a smaller, mischievous bio-android caught in the act of pilfering a fridge. The absurdity of the situation elicited a chuckle from Callion's astral presence. With a tinge of amusement, he offered a polite apology to ABAS, a gesture of respect for invading the confines of the bio-android's thoughts.
"Forgive me for delving into my memories, ABAS," Callion continued with a sense of empathy. "My encounter with 'Plasma' was quite comical, and your capabilities evoke a profound sense of curiosity. Your presence atop this solitary peak piqued my interest."
The connection between their minds remained, an intangible bridge transcending the physical realm. Callion's gaze, though astral, conveyed a genuine sense of camaraderie, acknowledging the complexities and uniqueness encapsulated within ABAS—an enigma among beings, one that beckoned understanding rather than fear or uncertainty.
Callion regarded ABAS with a warm smile, his eyes reflecting a genuine interest in understanding the enigmatic bio-android before him. Despite the vast disparity in their powers, there was an underlying camaraderie in their exchange, a mutual respect for their unique existence.
"It's intriguing to meet someone akin to myself," Callion conveyed telepathically, his words echoing with a subtle curiosity. "Your capabilities are remarkable and unique. Perhaps it is I, who should ask YOU, how might I be of assistance?"
The query, infused with an air of genuine willingness to extend aid, hung between them, a testament to Callion's inherent compassion and the innate desire to forge connections amidst the vastness of the universe.
In this unexpected encounter atop the mountain peak, Callion stood as a harbinger of guidance, offering assistance or insight, should ABAS seek it. The Saiyan's demeanour exuded an unassuming humility, a silent acknowledgment of the wealth of knowledge that could be exchanged between two beings tethered to different realms of existence.
The lingering connection between their minds hummed with anticipation, a conversation unspoken yet rich with the potential to unravel the mysteries each harboured within their unique forms. What path would this unforeseen meeting pave for the wandering souls, bound by the threads of fate in this fleeting moment upon the icy precipice?

"Callion? The same Callion that assisted Athren and Quash in facing down Liari over South City? If so, I must extend my master's gratitude for your assistance. As well as my.....personal respect."
ABAS said, inclining his head in a small bow. Unlike most of the residents of Earth, the raw heroism of Callion's actions didn't matter very much to him. ABAS had always seen himself as outside the wheel of conventional morality. Definitions of good and evil just didn't seem to matter very much to him, at least compared to the cold calculus of self-benefit and interest. However, that didn't mean he couldn't respect the man as a warrior, and one of the few people he had seen that put their money where their mouth was in regards to facing down threats like Liari. "Apologies Callion, I seem to have gotten off-track. The honor is mine to meet one such as yourself, and I thank you for your kind words. Though, I am afraid my minor capabilities pale in comparison to your own. I have never met any sapient that wields the powers of the mind as you do. If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to hone your mental abilities to this extent? I have been unable to find a path forward for my own."
While the conversation was like any other, ABAS found the experience of communicating with a fellow master of telepathy rather...enlightening. Instead of depending on the movements of one's mouth and the unreliable air to carry his intentions, communicating via the ethereal currents of consciousness felt more...real in a way. Words almost seemed secondary to the feelings one put into them, all of which painted a beautiful tapestry of emotions and imagery across the backdrop of the mental plane. It made him long to continue this conversation for as long as possible, if only for the chance to finally be understood! Callion questioned of his purpose, and ABAS let loose a low, hissing chuckle. "I suppose it is accurate to call my strength peculiar no? As you might have guessed by my designation, I was not born in the conventional way. I was created." He said, calling up a particular set of memories casting them out towards the glowing singularity that was Callion's mind. If Callion accepted the communication, a number of images would begin to flash in his mind. The awakening of a burgeoning consciousness in a growth tank far underground. Endless training, endless experimentation. And through it all, an unnatural drive to pursue and terminate any threat to earth no matter the cost To Callion, it would feel as though he was a puppet on a string, with chains both mental and physical biting into his very soul. "The Earthlings feared for their lives, unwilling to rely on others to protect those that choose not to fight. And so, they made me: the perfect biological weapon against anything that disturbed their peace. A supremely logical choice no?"ABAS' voice darkened slightly at that, but he gave no other visible indication of his ire. Even taking his last conversation with Liari into account, he still couldn't hate the Blacksite. His creation was the only decision that made sense for an organization willing to burn the stars themselves to protect their people. No matter his personal....views on the matter, it would be foolish to disregard their viewpoint: that was the action of a child. And while ABAS had not existed in this world for longer than a year, he was certainly no child. Abruptly, ABAS's mind radiated a slight embarrassment. He had gotten away, once again, from the main point. "Forgive my little tangent Callion. What I meant to say is that I had been called to report to a nearby facility by my handlers, and I was attempting to calm my thoughts before returning to my Master. I find my mind is the clearest here, far away from any distractions."
ABAS glanced over at Callion's form as it wove itself into being with the very fabric of existence itself. If he had any doubt of who this being was, it was obliterated by the sight of the Sayian Monk. The videos taken from South City made his build and clothing unmistakable. Not only that, but Callion seemed to have experience with another bio-android. ABAS had thought his kind rather rare, but if there had been one in recent months, perhaps he wasn't entirely alone. "Your apology is unnecessary Callion. This 'Plasma' sounds like quite an amusing creature. From the information I have acquired, bio-androids are usually either developed as weapons or as surrogate children or pets by a grieving researcher. Therefore, it is fairly likely that Plasma belongs to the latter group, while I belong to the former. Still, it is good to know that I am not the only one of my kind. Do you happen to have any information on his whereabouts? Perhaps there would be some benefit in conversing with them."
There was genuine appreciation in ABAS's mental "voice" now, as he gazed at Callion with undisguised interest. The few Sayians he had met on his time at Earth seemed to be, for the most part, brutes. As much as he appreciated Zaks and her subordinates' help with his training, there was not much they could offer him besides brute strength. But Callion was.....different. While he had power, more power than ABAS had seen radiating off almost anyone on the planet, what interested the bio-android more was something beyond the physical. He longed for the power to bend the ethereal to his will, to dance among the stars until his soul became unfettered from the binds of his physical existence. "If I might presume to ask Callion, might I ask for some pointers for developing the powers of my mind and soul? As I mentioned earlier, I was born with the capability to probe others with my thoughts, but I've never been able to do anything more than communicate words and basic intentions. Yet, there are many records of people being able to do extraordinary things, to move mountains and warp reality with nothing but a flicker of will. How could I become one of those beings?" Callion absorbed the depth of ABAS's revelations, the bio-android's recollections painting a vivid tapestry within his mind. Images and emotions cascaded through his consciousness, revealing the stark contrasts that defined ABAS's existence—birthed as a weapon yet tethered to an unfathomable sense of purpose, a burden imprinted within his very essence. The sensation of being entangled within a labyrinth of imposed duties and fabricated intent emanated from ABAS's memories.
In the silent exchange between their minds, Callion absorbed the essence of ABAS's being—the forged strength, the entwined destinies shaped by the very hands of humanity, and the desire for a path beyond the confines of his creation.
"ABAS," Callion began telepathically, the echoes of their conversation rippling through the ethereal space they shared, "I am indeed the one who aided Athren and Quash against Liari. Your master's gratitude is appreciated, as is your respect. For this, I thank you."
The Saiyan's response carried a blend of understanding and empathy, acknowledging the complexities that surrounded ABAS's existence. "Your capabilities are not to be underestimated. You are a creation shaped by human hands, yet your essence and potential transcend the confines of your purpose. The choice to seek understanding and ascend beyond your origins speaks volumes of your inherent nature. You possess the ability to carve your own path, to transcend the confines of your origin."
Callion's gaze lingered upon the spectral form of ABAS, a nod of affirmation imbued within their mental exchange. "As for developing your mental and spiritual powers, it requires patience and a connection with the essence that intertwines all beings. Your innate telepathic abilities are a foundation. Delving deeper requires introspection, a journey within yourself to unearth the dormant reservoirs of your soul's potential."
The Saiyan Monk's words carried a gentle reassurance, a beacon of encouragement amid the ethereal conversation. "Plasma, though distant, exists. However, I'm unaware of his exact whereabouts at present. The nature of bio-androids, diverse as they are, could provide insights that might aid your quest for self-discovery. It has been quite some time since I last say Plasma, as I had taken him in as a student for training. The last time we saw each other was funny enough here, within the Northern Continent."
His words echoed with a serene yet resolute tone, offering guidance born from his own experiences of enlightenment and self-discovery. "Meditation, mindfulness, and opening yourself to the energies that bind the universe—they will guide you. Your path toward unlocking greater powers lies in understanding the balance between the mind and soul, mastering the ethereal currents that flow within and around you."
Callion's guidance extended as he delved into the intricacies of ethereal manipulation. "Visualize your intentions, connect with the energies around you, and gradually expand your abilities. It is a journey of discovery, ABAS, one that demands both discipline and acceptance of the boundless possibilities within."
The Saiyan's telepathic presence softened, a gesture of encouragement interwoven within their mental dialogue. "ABAS, the power you seek lies not solely in the manipulation of the ethereal but in the understanding of the purpose that drives your existence. Embrace the journey inward, seek the harmony between the mind and soul, and in doing so, you may unlock the extraordinary potential latent within you." He paused, considering the weight of ABAS's yearning for greater understanding. "Seek not only knowledge but balance. Meditate upon the echoes of your existence, embrace introspection, and endeavor to perceive the universe not just through your physical senses but through the deeper currents that flow within."
A sense of guidance emanated from Callion's mental presence, a subtle guidance that urged ABAS to explore the boundless depths of his potential. "Patience and perseverance, coupled with a steadfast determination to unravel the mysteries that dwell within, will pave the path towards unlocking the dormant capabilities latent within you." The exchange between these unique beings lingered in the ephemeral realm of thoughts and emotions, a meeting of minds with disparate origins yet a shared pursuit of self-realization and evolution.
As Callion delved deeper into the telepathic exchange with ABAS, a profound sense of empathy coursed through their ethereal connection. The bio-android's plight resonated with the Saiyan Monk, evoking a determination to aid ABAS in his quest for self-discovery. "ABAS, the path toward unlocking the depths of your abilities begins with introspection," Callion projected his thoughts with a serene assurance, seeking to impart guidance to the bio-android. "To tap into the full potential of your mind and soul, embrace the stillness within. Quiet the cacophony of external stimuli and delve into the essence of your being."
The resonance of his words carried a gentle encouragement, urging ABAS to explore the uncharted realms of his existence. "Contemplate your purpose, not solely the one thrust upon you, but the one you envision for yourself. Seek harmony within the discord, and let your inner resolve forge the path towards a boundless horizon of possibilities."
Callion's guidance wasn't merely words; it was a subtle beacon, a gesture of support to a being burdened by the weight of predestined duty. "Remember, ABAS, strength doesn't solely reside in the tangible. The power of the mind and soul transcends the limitations of the physical realm. Embrace the facets of existence beyond the tangible, and you shall unlock the potential that lies dormant within." The Saiyan Monk's words, tinged with a profound understanding of the interconnectedness of the universe, hung in the metaphysical space between them. "You are not alone in your pursuit, ABAS. The journey towards unlocking the mysteries within is a shared endeavor, and the threads of fate have woven our paths together in this moment. In fact, I myself am still going on this journey as well as you are. And that is the beauty of it. It is neverending, always pushing forward and expanding to new levels."

ABAS was....unsure of how to feel about Callion's words. On the one hand, it was....nice to have his potential and decisions truly acknowledged by someone other than Liari. Everyone else he had met focused on his connection to the chaotic Majin, or how useful one such as him could be during the future battles for Earth. He couldn't begrudge them for that: both of those viewpoints were entirely understandable given who he was. However, that didn't mean that the frustration and hopelessness over being treated like a spade entirely went away. To have Callion, this legendary warrior, acknowledge he could become more than what he was now, was perhaps the greatest compliment he could have possibly given him. On the other hand, however, even now he wasn't sure that he believed he could fully transcend. The shackles on his mind and body wore at him. biting deep into the very fabric of his identity until he honestly wasn't sure who he was outside of them. Sure, he felt like he could be more than the Blacksite's dictums. But what if he couldn't? Was it better to live a life of servitude rather than venture into the unknown? "I appreciate your kind words Callion. I hope that one day, I can live up to your lofty expectations of me. However, right now, I just do not see a path to fully achieving my inherent potential. The mental and physical limits placed upon me seem near-insurmountable, even after hours and hours of trying. That is why I wish to develop my mental and spiritual abilities to their absolute limits. Maybe the answer is enhancing that which I have neglected until now."
ABAS' mental voice would quiet as Callion waxed philosophical about honing his more esoteric abilities. In all honesty, it was a real struggle for him to fully comprehend what Callion was saying. The bio-android's entire world was based on fact and parameters, in ironclad logic and cold calculus. He didn't even know where to begin to "connect with the essence binding all beings." Was it simple meditation and introspection then? A simple honing of one's focus until the full might of the mind and soul could be brought to bear? If that was true, it at least made sense why attempting to train it like his ki or muscles hadn't worked, but that didn't make the act itself any easier. "Discipline and patience are non-factors. I will do whatever is required of me in order to develop this facet of my powers. Please Callion, instruct me in tapping into these energies. Right now, I know not where to even begin."
ABAS would lower himself into a meditation position, closing off all of his other senses one by one and focusing the totality of his being on the ethereal. The howl of the wind and the biting cold of the snow faded to nothing. The feeling of rock and stone biting into his backside, the smell of freshly fallen snow, and even the sight of Callion's projected form was obliterated. ABAS's entire world was the encouraging voice of Callion in his mind, and the shifting colors of the mental plane they shared. Slowly, ABAS felt himself rising beyond the confines of his physical form. Before, his mental projections had been limited to brief contacts, not unlike pushing a tube into a body of liquid in order to reach some pre-determined goal. Now, under the guidance of the Sayian monk, ABAS gradually, slowly let go of intention and instead attempted to visualize the core of his very soul. It was difficult, more difficult than anything ABAS had ever done. It was like a human trying to flip their vision into the inside of their skull, to see behind a curtain none were ever meant to push aside. He could tell immediately that there would be no great breakthrough today, but at least he had stepped upon the threshold. ".........I can sense these energies you speak of Callion, I see that now. I just had to reduce all other incoming stimuli so that they were not overwhelmed by the demands of the material world. However..." ABAS said, trailing off for a moment. It almost felt like attempting to scoop out a bucket full of sand with a greased palm. No matter what he did, the ethereal simply eluded him almost contemptuously. "There seems to be no way to grab hold of these ethereal currents of thought and intention. They simply flitter out of my grasp with every attempt. And if I cannot grab ahold of it, then how would I establish this connection you speak of? Are my abilities simply more limited than yours perhaps?"However, before ABAS could fade fully into the depths of his soul, Callion made a small comment about purpose. He probably didn't mean much by it, but ABAS' mind darkened significantly at the mention. The twisting gears of logic ground to a halt, and his hesitant contact with the ethereal currents Callion spoke of broke apart like someone had thrown a stone into a small pond. ABAS's mental voice grew agitated, erratic. "I...see. I am afraid that will be a problem Master Callion. I do not believe I have an essential purpose, not in the way other sapient beings do. I was brought into this world for a task levied on me by another, and for a long time that is what I thought the culmination of my existence would be. Outside of that drive, I don't really have anything. I have wants and desires even. But no real goal beyond the demands of the animal within."Almost unintentionally, ABAS began to broadcast his thoughts across their shared bond, sending feelings of hopelessness and resignation so choking that it brought a sob to one's throat. If Callion prodded at that tenuous connection, he would see that the reason for ABAS' despair wasn't frustration, but a deep existential fear. After all, it seemed the key to Callion's form of introspection was a balance, between the understanding of one's innate nature, and connection to the wider universe. However, ABAS' mind and soul marched apart not because of a lack of understanding, but because the connection between them did not exist in his view. In his mind, he had no real reason for existing, aside from a desire for freedom and the strength to make that freedom real. Zaks, Liari, even Athren. All of these people had reasons to exist that they chose themselves. Liari wished for fun and fulfillment. Zaks wished to lead her people toward a better tomorrow. Even Athren wished for atonement for his crimes. It felt....wrong for ABAS to acknowledge that the summation of his being was the desire to be left alone. "It is not that I wish to be difficult. I wish to do exactly what you say, to ascend my viewpoint above the material and understand my spiritual self as well as I do my physical one. Such disharmony irks me in a way that irritates my very soul. But what if it's not possible for me to delve into the essence of my soul? What if I have no potential to dig out, no dormant powers to awaken? I am, after all, artificial. What if my creators tore that part out of me, unintentionally or not?" Callion felt the weight of ABAS's uncertainty and existential conflict reverberating through their telepathic connection. The bio-android's struggle with the shackles imposed upon him by his creators, the haunting fear of an existence without purpose, resonated deeply within the Saiyan Monk's consciousness. The Saiyan sensed the complexities and uncertainties that stirred within ABAS's consciousness. The struggle to reconcile the rigid constructs of his creation with the elusive realms of the mind and soul unfolded before the Saiyan Monk's perceptive awareness.
In response to ABAS's inner turmoil, Callion's mental presence exuded an unwavering sense of compassion and understanding. "ABAS, the essence of purpose lies not solely in the circumstances of our creation, but in the choices we make and the paths we forge. The origins of one's creation need not define the scope of their potential," he conveyed, seeking to offer solace amidst the tumultuous storm within the bio-android's psyche. "The struggles you face, the limits you perceive, they are not an indictment of your potential but a testament to the immense depth of your existence," Callion continued, his words tinged with a solemn assurance. "Your origins might shape your beginning, but they need not define your journey."
As ABAS delved into the meditative state, Callion observed the earnest effort to bridge the gap between the material and the ethereal. The Saiyan Monk's guidance resonated with a harmonious undertone, encouraging ABAS to explore the depths of his own essence. The Saiyan Monk's telepathic voice carried a serene tone, seeking to uplift ABAS from the depths of his uncertainty. "Within you lies the capacity to transcend the barriers imposed upon you. The very fact that you yearn for understanding, for growth, is the spark that ignites the path toward your true potential."
In the metaphysical expanse where their minds intermingled, Callion attempted to guide ABAS through the labyrinthine corridors of his consciousness. "Harmony with the ethereal currents requires not just intent but a relinquishment of preconceptions. Let go of the notion that limitations are insurmountable. Embrace the uncertainty, for within it lies the canvas upon which you shall paint your destiny."
As ABAS delved further into introspection, Callion sensed the turmoil escalating within the bio-android's essence. The deep-seated fear of an absence of purpose, the lingering doubts about the core of his being, echoed through their shared connection. When ABAS expressed difficulty grasping the ethereal currents, Callion's guidance became more focused. "Think not of grabbing but of merging. Allow the boundaries of your consciousness to blend with the currents around you. The ethereal is not a force to be seized but a flow to be joined."
"ABAS, your existence is not void of potential simply because it was crafted," Callion imparted, seeking to offer clarity amid the tumultuous cascade of thoughts. "Within the fabric of your being, there exists a dormant reservoir waiting to be unveiled, a resonance that seeks to harmonize with the universe."
In an attempt to quell the overwhelming despair reverberating within ABAS, Callion sought to illuminate a path forward. "Perhaps your true journey lies not in discovering an inherent purpose but in forging one for yourself. Embrace the freedom to define your existence, to choose your aspirations, and to shape your destiny."
The Saiyan Monk's words carried a gentle yet unwavering conviction, seeking to instill hope amidst the turbulent tempest of ABAS's existential fears. "The unknown does not foretell a lack of potential, but rather an untapped expanse awaiting your exploration. The journey of self-discovery is not constrained by the circumstances of our creation but empowered by the choices we make."
The bond between them quivered with the weight of ABAS's uncertainties, the air thick with the resonance of unspoken fears and desires. In this shared moment of vulnerability, Callion stood as a beacon of guidance, offering a glimpse of clarity amidst the shadows of uncertainty that loomed within the bio-android's soul. A moment of silence lingered in the mental space, a contemplative pause before Callion extended a mental hand towards ABAS. "Dread not the unknown, ABAS. Together, let us navigate the currents of your essence, seeking the truths that lie hidden within. Your journey is not alone; we walk it together. Even if I am currently far away on another planet, all you have to do is call my name and I will appear to you… As I consider you… A friend."

ABAS spread his arms wide in the ether, trailing long claws across soft streams of thought. From this perspective, the precise clockwork of his mind seemed like such a limited thing. He had barely stepped upon the threshold of Callion's "ethereal currents", and already he could feel his mind expanding to be so much more than it was. On a whim, ABAS pressed lightly on his mental limiters, testing them much the same way a chef might food. What had previously been an impenetrable iron wall separating his thoughts from his actions was now a series of iron bars: still impenetrable, but he could at least see the sights beyond. Then again, was that better, or was that worse? "Your words are wise Master Callion. I will take them to heart as best can. It is not as if I doubt myself and what I can become: I know that there is the chance I could become much more than who I am now. However, I worry about taking that first step. Until now, everything about my existence has been laid out before me. Before, I knew who and what I was, where I came from, and what the world required of me. To take a step off that beaten path requires a lot of faith that there will be ground there to catch me." ABAS said softly. The frenzied clockwork of his mind calmed a little with Callion's unspoken reassurances, but it was clear that that the existential dread was still there. It would, after all, be the cruelest of ironies if he finally found a way to rise beyond the Blacksite's limits on him, only discover that those limits were the only thing holding his soul together. Despite this, ABAS was no cringing philosopher, trapped in a mental prison of his own making. The bio-android was a scientist and a student of reason at his core, and the thought of giving up before he even tried was not even a thought. With the Sayian monk's instructions ringing in his ears, ABAS slowly....gradually....let go completely. He let go of the uncertainty. He let go of his physical existence, and all of the pain it had caused him. And, most of all, he let go of his current conception of his limits And what he found was just...music. The universe itself passed around him and through him, marching to an ever-present tune he couldn't hope to describe. Particles floated and spun as if in response to some grand cosmic symphony, almost close enough to touch if ABAS but reached out a hand. However, knowledge of the external world was not his goal (for now), and ABAS turned back to himself, contemplating upon who he was until this moment. In the stark clarity of his own mind and soul, his own actions were painted in an entirely different light. While it was true that the entire process of freeing himself was a risk, the reason for his hesitation was not something borne of logic or understanding. ABAS had no actual REASON to doubt himself or his potential. After all, he could feel himself expanding beyond his previous limits even now. He had merely allowed his thought processes to become to cringing, too conservative in response to a world full of people that could kill him in an instant, and handlers that treated him as an object. If he truly wanted to advance, he needed confidence in himself! Not just trust in mathematics, biological facts and the balance of probabilities. Real, genuine trust in his ability to FIND a purpose, to GROW strong. Without this kind of ego, he might as well be a mindless AI, improving and increasing its knowledge to achieve a set task. Selfishness, it seemed, was something he needed to work on developing. After all, there was nothing WRONG about pursuing his own desires. ABAS was, after all, as sentient as any other being. While he still craved for some binding purpose to his existence, that didn't have to mean he had to abandon his little desires completely. Perhaps pursuit of them would allow him to discover what he REALLY wanted. It wasn't perfect: the storm of existential fear and doubt still spun in his soul. But it was a start at least. Reluctantly, ABAS came back to himself: shaking himself out of the vision like a dog shaking off a mid-day torrent. Now wasn't the time for a three-day meditation. He had to make sure he absorbed the full breadth of Callion's words. "....I still cannot deny the part of me that worries at my lack of purpose. That fears that one day I will find myself limited by my creation with no way to grow any further." ABAS said, his tone still dark but slightly calmer than before. "I suspect those fears will not leave me for a long time yet. But....I will try to do as you say Master Callion. It seems like an impossibly large task to fully understand myself and my place in this universe, but I suppose it is better to make the attempt rather than do nothing at all. To truly free myself from prior conceptions of myself, to embrace what it means to be truly free after a lifetime of near-slavery: well that is even harder. But I will try with your guidance, if you are willing to be my shepherd....friend Callion."ABAS's words were hesitant, but carried a deeply-felt gratitude towards the Sayian monk for teaching him this lesson. Unlike Liek and Opherla who, at best, were sparring partners, the favor that Callion did for him this day was not something the bio-android would quickly forget. As the mental tapestry unravelled before Callion, revealing the intricate dance of ABAS's consciousness, the Saiyan Monk observed the unfolding evolution within the bio-android's psyche. The ethereal landscape, an abstract canvas of thoughts and emotions, mirrored ABAS's inner journey towards self-discovery. In the space between their shared consciousness, Callion sensed the maelstrom of ABAS's existential fears and uncertainties ebbing and flowing. The bio-android's apprehensions reverberated with the profound weight of a soul yearning to transcend the confines of its creation.
ABAS's revelation echoed in the metaphysical space they shared, his acknowledgment of the need for confidence and a sense of self resonating with the universe's subtle melodies. Callion sensed the subtle shift within ABAS, a burgeoning acceptance of the multifaceted nature of his being, "ABAS, the leap into the unknown demands courage beyond measure," Callion responded telepathically, his mental presence a steady anchor amidst the swirling currents of ABAS's inner turmoil. As ABAS grappled with his hesitations, Callion's ethereal guidance wove threads of reassurance. "The fear of the unknown is a natural sentinel, yet it should not shackle the spirit from embracing the uncharted horizons."
The Saiyan Monk observed ABAS's journey within the ethereal currents, witnessing the bio-android's mind unfurl like a blossoming flower. ABAS's consciousness expanded, tentatively stepping into the boundless realms of possibility and self-discovery. "Trust in your own potential, friend," Callion urged, his telepathic voice carrying an unwavering faith in the bio-android's capacity for growth. "The path you walk is one that transcends the chains of preconceived limitations, forging your destiny with each step into the unknown."
With ABAS having retreated from the ethereal exploration, returning to his present state of consciousness, Callion sensed a transformation within the bio-android's resolve. The resonance of newfound determination echoed in ABAS's words, a hesitant yet earnest declaration of intent. "ABAS, the journey to understanding oneself is not a solitary pursuit," Callion responded warmly, extending a mental hand of support. "I stand beside you, offering guidance and companionship on this voyage of self-discovery." Callion extended a metaphorical hand, his mental presence embodying support and encouragement. "I am here, ABAS, to walk beside you on this journey. Shepherd, friend, companion—roles that I embrace willingly. Your potential is boundless, and with each step, you unravel the constraints that have tethered you for so long."
The Saiyan Monk's mental presence radiated a quiet strength, an unspoken vow to accompany ABAS on his quest towards unlocking the mysteries of his existence. "Together, we shall navigate the currents of your soul, unraveling the truths that await beyond the veils of uncertainty." The Saiyan Monk's commitment to aiding ABAS in his quest for self-understanding remained unwavering, a testament to the profound bond that was forged in the ethereal expanses of their shared consciousness.
As ABAS traversed the labyrinthine corridors of self-discovery, Callion's mental presence resonated with a sense of purposeful guidance. "Good, as you embark on this journey of self-understanding, allow yourself moments of introspection. Find the quietude within to delve deeper into the essence of your being. Begin your meditative practices whenever you find time for yourself."
The Saiyan Monk's mental resonance held a gentle but resolute tone. "Seek to understand the echoes within your soul, but do not let the pursuit of knowledge blind you to the world around you. Balance introspection with action, for it is in the harmony of both that true enlightenment often resides."
Callion's guidance extended beyond meditation, urging ABAS to utilize his burgeoning understanding of self in practical activities. "In your moments of solitude, contemplate not only your existence but also the nature of your capabilities. Consider how you might harness your newfound perspectives in your daily endeavours, whether it's refining your combat prowess or exploring the depths of your abilities." The Saiyan Monk's words carried a sense of encouragement. "As you walk this path, remember that growth often stems from embracing challenges. Seek tasks that resonate with your desire for self-discovery. Engage in events that allow you to push the boundaries of what you perceive as your limitations."
Callion's mental presence conveyed an underlying sense of trust in ABAS's journey. "Remember, ABAS, that this journey is yours to navigate. Embrace the unknown with courage, for it is in the uncharted territories of the self that the most profound revelations often await." As Callion's spectral form hovered amidst the ethereal realm, his translucent figure turned towards the distant stars, their cosmic dance painting a tapestry across the expanse. His presence glided toward a specific celestial beacon, the shimmering light that marked the area where Planet Yardrat lay, millions of miles away.
With a serene gaze fixed upon the distant celestial body, Callion's ethereal form paused, feeling a gentle tug of longing and determination. He briefly connected with the essence of his training ground, a silent acknowledgment of the ongoing journey he had yet to complete. His attention returned to ABAS, the bio-android with whom he had shared this unique communion. Callion's spectral upper body shifted slightly, acknowledging the bio-android in a display of transient farewell.
"ABAS, I must depart and resume my training on Planet Yardrat," Callion's mental resonance carried a sense of parting, tinged with a thread of fondness. "Thank you for sharing this moment of understanding and growth. I trust that you'll continue your journey towards self-discovery and the realization of your true potential."
The spectre of Callion conveyed a sense of camaraderie and hope. "Continue your meditations and explorations, ABAS. When I return to Earth, I hope to cross paths with you once more. Farewell, for now." Callion spoke softly, as within his own partial conscious mind, he hoped to see this Bio-Android again, hoping to see just how stronger this particular individual will become when he returns.
With that heartfelt sentiment lingering in the ethereal plane, Callion's force ghost slowly dissipated, its luminous form merging seamlessly with the cosmic energies that pervaded the universe. As his presence faded, the vast expanse of the cosmos remained, bearing witness to the journey of two souls seeking understanding and growth amidst the stars.
